China standard wear-resistant steel sheet NM500

The hardness of China standard wear-resistant steel sheet NM500 can reach 500HBW. Its surface hardness is equivalent to Hardox 450. This steel sheet is widely used in mining machinery, metallurgy, coal, cement, power, glass, mining, building materials, bricks and tiles industries.

Wear-resistant steel plate is composed of low-carbon steel plate and alloy wear-resistant layer. The alloy wear-resistant layer is generally 1/3~1/2 of the total thickness. When working, the matrix provides the strength, toughness and plasticity of resistance to external forces, and the alloy wear-resistant layer provides the wear resistance to meet the requirements of specified working conditions. 

Wear resistant steel alloy wear resistant layer and substrate are metallurgical bonding. The high hardness self-shielding alloy welding wire is welded evenly on the substrate by special equipment and automatic welding technology. The composite layer is one to two or even multi-layers. The uniform transverse cracks appear in the composite process because of the different alloy shrinkage ratio. This is the remarkable characteristic of wear-resistant steel plate. 

The wear-resistant layer of the alloy mainly consists of chromium alloy, at the same time, manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel and other alloy elements are added. The carbide in the microstructure is fibrous and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. The microhardness of the carbide can reach more than HV1700-2000, and the surface hardness can reach HRC58-62. The alloy carbide has strong stability at high temperature, maintains high hardness, and has good oxidation resistance. It can be used completely and normally within 500 ~C.
